Ryan Slane (North Babylon, N.Y.) was selected as the East Coast Conference Player of the Week on Monday.
Slane collected three goals, all of which were unassisted, and two helpers in the Pioneers' regular-season home finale win over the Bears. He also scooped up one ground ball and caused one turnover in the contest.
Slane has tallied a five-point output in five different games this season. His season-best total stands at seven points (6 G, 1 A) from a 13-5 win over UDC on Mar. 17.
Slane presently ranks as the team's second-leading and the league's sixth-leading scorer with 43 points (25 G, 18 A). His 18 assists are eighth-best in the conference.
Slane and the Pioneers return to action on Saturday (Apr. 18), when they travel to Brookhaven for a 1 p.m. opening faceoff at ECC rival Dowling.
