BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Sept. 1, 2015) - The LIU Post football team revealed Tuesday that it will host a 10-year anniversary tribute for the 2005 Northeast-10 Conference title-winning squad at its home opener against Assumption on Sept. 12.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Pioneers' 40-7 win over Assumption on Nov. 5, 2005. The championship was the program's third in four years and propelled the green and gold into the NCAA Division II Tournament, where they went on to beat West Chester and No. 6 Shepherd for the program's first two NCAA postseason victories.
