WACO, Texas (Sept. 14, 2015) - On Monday, the American Football Coaches' Association released its latest regular-season poll for Division II, and LIU Post earned votes for a second-straight week.
Following a nailbiting 40-31 victory over Assumption College on Saturday, the Pioneers continue to catch the eye of the AFCA. The green and gold remain only one of two teams representing the Northeast-10 Conference in the poll.
Minnesota State University-Mankato kept its position atop the poll, while the University of West Georgia moved into the No. 2 slot. Northwest Missouri State University and Pittsburg State University were ranked third and fourth, respectively. Ferris State University climbed one spot from last week to round out the Top-5.
Head Coach
Bryan Collins and his LIU Post squad return to action Saturday (Sept. 19), when they travel to Manchester, N.H. for a noon kickoff at NE-10 rival Saint Anselm College.
