BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Jan. 20, 2016) - In conjunction with its 7 p.m. dual against American International College, the LIU Post wrestling team will hold its second-annual Military Appreciation Night at the Pratt Recreation Center on Thursday.

There will be a $5 entry fee at the gate, with the proceeds benefiting 9-1-1 Veterans. All those in attendance who have or are currently serving in the armed forces will be recognized.

9-1-1 Veterans is a small non-profit organization dedicated to assisting Long Island's veterans. They provide emergency financial assistance to those who have served - or are still serving in - the finest military in the world.

9-1-1 Veterans also has no paid employees, which has allowed them to give nearly 100 percent of donated funds to their cause.
