KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Oct. 11, 2016) - The LIU Post men's soccer team sits at No. 5 in this week's National Soccer Coaches Association of America Division II Top-25 Poll, released Tuesday afternoon.
The Pioneers, who are one of only five unbeaten teams in the nation, fell one notch from last week, after Saturday's 3-3 draw at Mercy.
Rockhurst claimed the No. 1 ranking for a second-straight week. Charleston and Simon Fraser flip-flopped at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. Wingate rose two spots to No. 4.
LIU Post currently boasts the sixth-highest scoring average in Division II, tallying 3.1 goals per game. Additionally, the Pioneers are limiting their opposition to the ninth-best goals-against average (0.58) in the country.
