CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Oct. 14, 2016) - Entering its inaugural year of competition, the LIU Post women's bowling team has been chosen seventh in the 2016-17 East Coast Conference Preseason Poll, released Friday.
The Pioneers, who earned points in the National Tenpin Coaches Association Division II/III Preseason Poll, received 42 points and one first-place vote in the balloting.
Reigning league champion Adelphi topped the poll with 96 points and seven first-place nods. Kutztown and Franklin Pierce each claimed a first-place vote, en route to placing second and third in the tally, respectively.
