CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Oct. 18, 2016) - On Monday, LIU Post men's soccer junior back David Arvidsson (Gothenburg, Sweden) was recognized as the East Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week.

Arvidsson, who led a back line that allowed just one goal in a pair of victories last week, scored three goals and added an assist for a team-leading seven points in the two contests.

He tallied the game's lone goal in the 13th minute in a 1-0 win at Roberts Wesleyan on Friday (Oct. 14), and followed that up with a two-goal, one-assist showing in an 8-1 victory at Daemen on Sunday (Oct. 16).

Arvidsson and the Pioneers return to the pitch Thursday (Oct. 20), when they square off with Molloy College in an ECC showdown in Rockville Centre. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
