Men's Lacrosse to Host Cancer Research Fundraiser on April 16

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Mar. 29, 2016) - On Saturday, Apr. 16, the LIU Post men's lacrosse team will raise funds and donations for cancer awareness, in conjunction with its game against East Coast Conference rival Dowling College.

All proceeds will benefit the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, which helps accelerate the development of next-generation multiple myeloma treatments to extend patients' lives, and lead to a cure.

Multiple myeloma is a hematological cancer that develops in the plasma cells found in bone marrow. It causes such symptoms as bone damage or kidney problems.
