BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Apr. 18, 2016) - Last Saturday, the LIU Post men's lacrosse team and Dowling College put its rivalry aside to fundraise for the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
Together, the Pioneers and Golden Lions accrued $900 in donations to aid in cancer awareness.
"The event was a conference-wide effort that every team in the league was supporting," Head Coach
John Jez said. "It was an initiative that was put forward by Bill Dunn at NYIT. Each team was obligated to raise funds during the year. We did a great job, as the teams totaled over $900 for this great charity. It is something we are looking forward to doing every year."
