CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Sept. 12, 2016) - After helping the eighth-ranked LIU Post men's soccer team to a pair of blowout wins, junior midfielder Harry Pearse (London, England) was named the East Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.

Pearse fueled an LIU Post offense that scored 12 goals in two games last week. He tallied a goal and an assist in a 5-0 win over No. 15 Merrimack on Thursday (Sept. 8), before notching two goals in a 10-minute span in a 7-0 rout of Dominican on Saturday (Sept. 10).

Pearse currently leads the ECC with 11 points and is tied with teammate Charlie Ledula (London, England) for the league lead in goals (4). His three assists are good for second-most in the ECC.

Pearse and the Pioneers return to the pitch on Wednesday (Sept. 14), when they host Post University in their 2016 home opener at Pioneer Soccer Park. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.
