KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Sept. 14, 2016) - Following a pair of wins last week, the LIU Post men's soccer team remained at No. 8 in the latest National Soccer Coaches Association of America Top-25 Poll, released Tuesday.

The Pioneers are coming off a 5-0 win over then-No. 15 Merrimack College and a 7-0 rout of Dominican College in their two games at the UB Men's Soccer Classic.

Junior midfielder Harry Pearse (London, England) fueled an LIU Post offense with a goal and an assist against Merrimack, before notching two goals in a 10-minute span versus Dominican.

Pearse currently leads the ECC with 11 points and is tied with teammate Charlie Ledula (London, England) for the league lead in goals (4). His three assists are good for second-most in the ECC.

Head Coach Andreas Lindberg and the Pioneers return to action on Wednesday (Sept. 14), when they open a four-game homestand against Post University. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m.
