CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. (Sept. 26, 2016) - For the second time this year, LIU Post men's soccer sophomore midfielder Charlie Ledula (London, England) has been named the East Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced Monday.

Ledula tallied a pair of deciding goals last week to help the Pioneers remain undefeated. He scored the overtime game-winner Tuesday (Sept. 20) in a thrilling 3-2 victory over Philadelphia, and followed that up with a two-goal performance in a 3-0 rout of Bridgeport on Saturday (Sept. 24).

Ledula has netted an team- and ECC-leading eight goals thus far in 2016. He also has the second-most game-winners (5) in Division II.

Ledula and his LIU Post side return to the pitch Saturday (Oct. 1), when they travel to Wilmington, Del. for a 2:30 p.m. non-conference showdown at Wilmington University.
