BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Jan. 4, 2017) - Head Coach Jamie Apicella and the LIU Post softball team will host their fifth-annual First Pitch Dinner to kick off the 2017 season on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 6 p.m. at the Milleridge Inn in Jericho.

The event features a full sit-down dinner, served with the choice of beer and wine. There will also be live music and raffles throughout the evening.

The cost of the dinner is $70 per person. It is open to all family, friends and supporters of the LIU Post softball program.

In 2016, the Pioneers posted their 18th-straight winning season under Apicella, compiling a 37-15-1 record. The green and gold also reached the finals of the East Coast Conference Championship and earned a berth to the NCAA Division II Tournament.
