BROOKVILLE, N.Y. (Apr. 1, 2017) - Last month, the LIU Post men's lacrosse team raised a total of $400 for the Wounded Warrior Project at its Mar. 18 contest against Georgian Court.
During the game, the Pioneers collected donations at the gate and donned camouflage uniforms to pay homage to current and former members of the military.
"Our team believes in honoring our military personnel," said Head Coach
John Jez. "The sacrifices they make every day to provide us with the freedom we have does not go unnoticed. I am proud of our team and their efforts to help raise funds for military needs, both at home and abroad."
