CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. - After helping the ninth-ranked LIU Post men's soccer team to a 2-0 week, graduate forward Lukas Ostermann (Saterland, Germany) garnered East Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week accolades, the conference office announced on Monday.

Ostermann continued his hot start in a Pioneer uniform as he recorded two of the three LIU Post goals on the week. The forward now has four goals in four games on the year, notching the first goal for the green and gold in each of them. This week, he notched the lone goal in the 1-0 victory over No. 25 Merrimack 6:28 minutes into the contest and added the opening score 2:04 minutes into the 2-1 win versus SCSU.

Ostermann and the Pioneers are once again on the road when they return to action on Saturday, Sept. 16. The green and gold will take a trip to Waterbury, Conn. to face Post University for a 3 p.m. kickoff.
