Men's Lacrosse Retains Top-15 Ranking in National Polls

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – Despite falling to No. 1 Merrimack College on Saturday, March 10, the LIU Post men's lacrosse team retained a top-15 ranking in the national polls this week.

The Pioneers boast the No. 15 ranking in the Nike/U.S. Lacrosse Magazine poll and the No. 13 spot in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association rankings.

LIU Post was scheduled to wrap up a three-game road-trip against nationally ranked opponents this week when they battled Saint Anselm College, but the contest was postponed due to another snowstorm in the New England region. A new make-up date for that contest has yet to be announced. The Pioneers now turn their focus to East Coast Conference play as the Green and Gold open league play against the University of the District of Columbia on Wednesday, March 21 at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium.
