BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The LIU Post men's lacrosse team came in at No. 14/16 in this week's national polls, despite having not played a contest since battling top-ranked Merrimack College on March 10.
 
The Pioneers drop one spot in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association poll and the Nike/U.S. Lacrosse Magazine rankings after the stagnant week.
 
LIU Post was scheduled to resume action this week in its East Coast Conference opener with the University of the District of Columbia, but for the second consecutive week its midweek matchup was postponed due to March snowstorms in the northeast. The Pioneers will return to action after a 17-day layoff when they host Georgian Court University on Tuesday, March 27 at 3:30 p.m. at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium.
