BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – Following two victories against Georgian Court University and Roberts Wesleyan College, the LIU Post men's lacrosse team enters the week ranked No. 14 and 16 in the Division II national polls for the second consecutive week.
The Pioneers remained stagnant in both polls, entering as the No. 14 team in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association standings and No. 16 in the Nike/U.S. Lacrosse Magazine rankings.
LIU Post opened last week with a victory against Georgian Court University in its first home game in nearly a month, and first competition in 17 days after two postponements due to snow in March. The Pioneers defeated the Lions, 12-4 on March 27, and continued to roll in East Coast Conference play with a 16-10 victory at Roberts Wesleyan on March 31.

William Snelders was tabbed as the ECC Offensive Player of the Week after tallying 13 goals and four assists over the two contests.
The Green and Gold return to action Wednesday, April 4 in game one of a men's and women's lacrosse doubleheader at Bethpage Federal Credit Union Stadium when the Pioneers host Post University beginning at 1:00 p.m.
