2010: Played in seven games … recorded an assist in the Pioneers’ win over American International (March 21).
Prior to C.W. Post: Played at Sayville and helped the Golden Flashes capture the Long Island Championship in 2009 … two-time all-county selection … also played football and led the team to a Long Island Championship.
Personal: Son of John and Erin Messina … brother, Matt, played at NYIT and currently plays for the Boston Cannons … his other brother, Mike '11, was a four-year standout at C.W. Post … favorite athlete is Mark Sanchez.
