Prior to C.W. Post: Transferred from Nassau, where he was a member of the 2008 NJCAA national championship team … played football and lacrosse at Hicksville.
Personal: Son of Richard and Denise Schmidt … twin brother, Richard, was a member of the C.W. Post lacrosse team (2009-10) and now serves as assistant coach… also has a younger brother … aspires to become a New York City fighter … majoring in criminal justice.
