Consensus Draft Services Preseason All-America

2010: Played in all 11 games and started the last eight games of the season as an OLB … was second on the team in tackles with 104 (39u, 65a) … led the team with four forced fumbles … twice was named PSAC East Defensive Player of the Week for the weeks of Oct. 10 and Nov. 14 … recorded 10 or more tackles on six occasions … notched a 20-yard interception against Bloomsburg (Oct. 30) … registered a season-high 20 at Slippery Rock (Nov. 13) … recovered a fumble and returned it for a 55-yard TD against Millersville (Oct. 9).

2009: Appeared in six games … totaled five tackles (4u, 1a), including two at Millersville (Oct. 17).

Prior to C.W. Post: Transferred from Pace Univ. after one season … played three years at Island Trees and received all-county recognition … also played basketball and lacrosse. 

 

Personal: Is the middle child of Ron and Phylis Modik’s three children … his sister, Sam, played lacrosse at Molloy … his favorite athlete is Emmitt Smith … plans to pursue a career in physical therapy.
