2006: USILA First-Team All-America... NYCAC First-Team All-Conference... led the team in ground balls (51) for the third straight season, while causing 24 turnovers... scored lone goal of the season in transition against Adelphi... dished out his only assist of the year on a length-of-field clear against Bryant.
2005: USILA Second-Team All-America... played all 14 games, leading the squad with 52 ground balls... assisted on three Pioneers goals.
2004: Played all 12 games as a rookie... tallied three points on the year (1 g, 2 a), while leading the Pioneers with 43 ground balls.
Football (2002-05): Was a four-year starting quarterback for head coach Bryan Collins's C.W. Post football team... led the Pioneers to a record of 31-9 during his time under center, including three NCAA Championships appearances... was a 2005 honorable-mention All-America, and won the Northeast-10 Conference's MVP award that same year... orchestrated one of the greatest drives in team history, leading C.W. Post on a 10-play, 96-yard march for a game-winning touchdown with 2.6 seconds left in the 2005 NCAA first-round contest against West Chester - the school's first victory in tournament history... rushed for 1,018 yards and passed for 2,995 as a senior - the most passing yards by a 1,000-yard back in NCAA Division II history... was one of 24 candidates for the Harlon Hill Trophy (Division II equivalent of the Heisman Trophy).
Prior to C.W. Post/Personal: Was an honorable-mention All-America selection and an all-county honoree at Lawrence High School... also played football and basketball for the Tornadoes... is the second of Joseph and Angela Blount's three children... his younger brother, Joe, is a freshman defender on this year's C.W. Post lacrosse team... is a member of C.W. Post's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
