C.W. Post Men's Lacrosse Meets Assemblyman Rob Walker

Head coach John Jez and the players were invited to a reception where they met with the Governor as well as state representatives, including local Assemblyman Rob Walker, who was a member of the 1996 championship team. Following the reception, the team was given a tour of the Capitol Building.

“It was truly an honor to be recognized Governor Paterson and our state leaders,” remarked Jez. “Our players worked hard all season to attain their goal of a national title and it's so nice to receive this recognition.”
C.W. Post (15-1) took home its second national championship in program history by defeating top-ranked and undefeated LeMoyne College on May 24.
