Giordano, Messina And Coric Selected To Play In Division I/II North/South Game

BALTIMORE (May 27, 2011) – C.W. Post men's lacrosse seniors Mike Giordano (Farmingdale, N.Y.), Mike Messina (Sayville, N.Y.) and Nick Coric (Walnut Creek, Calif.) will be playing in tonight's Division I/II North/South game at Goucher College in Baltimore, Md.
Giordano played in 43 games during his four-year career with the Pioneers and posted a 28-2 record, including a 16-2 mark in goal this season. He was recognized as a 2011 USILA Honorable Mention All-American and ECC Second Team selection.
Messina completed his four-year career at C.W. Post racking up 70 goals and 28 assists, including 29 goals and seven assists in 2011. He was voted the 2011 East Coast Conference Player of the Year and is a three-time USILA All-American.
Coric tallied 84 goals and 73 assists in his four-year career for the Pioneers. He raised his career season mark in goals to 35 this past season with 24 assists. He received USILA Honorable Mention All-America recognition this season.
